I met my one and only 3 months prior to this moment, but it wasn't meant to be then, and that moment marks the exact moment when we found each other again and started talking.
After 3 months the right moment came, as I looked in her lovely, big, green emerald eyes; saw her smiling, we talked and talked and then we continued to talk on the phone and online, and just after 3 days I was telling myself that she can't be true - I am dreaming, she is way to perfect for me (also, she was thinking the same thing :)) )
I never felt anything like that before and oh boy, have I been searching for that feeling without knowing what it feels like - but I found it eventually, it was exhilarating.
I felt how my soul was being filled with love; with warmth; with extreme joy; with calmness - I felt like I was coming home after a very long time and I still feel this way, even to this day.
It takes just her voice to make everything better. I can't even begin to explain how after all this time, when she wakes up and looks at me, she has a little sparkle in her eyes and her face lights up my room - my day, my life, no matter how exhausted I feel or cranky.
Even when she sleeps and I am working, I like to stop now and then to look at her, to just look at her beauty; at how perfect she is to me and, even though she is lying there dreaming, I can still feel her love for me and I feel like the most lucky guy in the world.
When I'm with her it feels like winning the lottery every single day. Even when we have an argument here and there, we can't really stay mad at each other for too long.
I break down when I see her upset; I can't see an angel upset, she was my gift from the above, my other half - to upset her feels like stabbing myself in the heart and it hurts more than I can describe with mere words. We make up fast, cause just being there we can't help but hugging, kissing, making each other laugh.
Even from that day, that moment that all started on my birthday, FYI, that's why I call her my absolute gift or my gift from above, cause I had a hard life and it all turned 180 degrees on that moment - all my life had meaning, everything fell into place, there were no more struggles; no more sadness; no more bad stuff; just a never-ending fairy tale and it's all thanks to this perfectly beautiful, crazy, loving girl <3 .
So that's why I chose that moment, it was the moment that my life changed forever; it was the moment I became whole again; the moment I understood why it never worked before with anyone else: because they were making room in my life for my forever love. <3

Ramón (my fiancé) and I met in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico on June 8th, 2018 at 7:45pm.
I had just moved to Puerto Vallarta to complete a TEFL certification. 6 days after arriving, I was walking on the beach with some friends. One of my friends and one of Ramón's friends started talking. Ramón and I were standing there, awkwardly waiting for our friends to finish their conversation, and started talking. It was difficult because he barely spoke English and my Spanish was terrible! BUT we made it work! 3 hours and a Puerto Vallarta sunset later, Ramón asked for my phone number and I went home. That night I told a friend, "I am going to marry him."
Ramón was just visiting Puerto Vallarta for the weekend for a doctor conference. He lived in León (central Mexico) and went back at the end of the weekend. We tried to get together again, but I was busy zip lining and riding quads through the jungle! We kept in touch via WhatsApp, texting and video chatting every day.
A month later, I was doing some traveling around Mexico with my good friend. Her parents had moved from Seattle to San Miguel, Mexico and we were planning to go spend some time with them before heading off to visit some other places. Coincidentally, the closest airport to San Miguel is León. Ramón convinced me to come visit for a weekend, as it was "on the way." Clever, eh?
We spent the weekend together exploring León and the surrounding cities! It was absolutely magical, but sadly, our fun vacation was cut short because I got sick with the flu. Luckily, he is a doctor and spent the remaining time we had together nursing me back to health.
I continued with my travels and visited a few more cities in Mexico. At the end of my travels (about 2 weeks later), Ramón invited me back to León for a few days before I headed to Mexico City, where a job and apartment were waiting for me.
However, I never made it to Mexico City....
I never realise how absolutely crazy our story is until someone asks me how Ramón and I met. I guess sometimes the universe has a way of working out...and for us to meet, a country, language and culture apart, all the stars in the sky had to align perfectly.
We are now engaged and eloping here in Mexico VERY soon!

When we thought there was no more hope and happiness, we found each other...
Each one with your own tragedy: she very sad with her mom with a terminal disease and me, weak after the end of a long relationship. Fortunately she found me on facebook, gave me attention and made me smile.
She told me about her mom and I decided to show them the sky with a telescope, just trying to make a little difference in their lives.
So I proposed and it happened in November 2017. On that night I fell in love as soon I saw her! But only on July 11th 2018 we started our special relationship.
I remember that night: I made a surprise appearance with roses, chocolates and funny words about dating. Then I asked her to be my girlfriend. She told me to wait for the answer while she had a shower.
Needless to say, I was nervous as never before (even being a guy with experience).
While I waited I saw the sky with the wonderful milky way and I thought: 'Wow! The stars' path brought me to her' and I decided to show her after one year.
That's the time now!

This map represents for me the perfect gift. That night I met the love of my life by accident during a holiday in Italy.
We stayed together for two weeks and every night we used to look at the stars above us. Since that day we have never separated, even if I’ve moved to Milan and he lives in Naples.
I’m eighteen and he’s twenty-six but we strongly believe in our love. He always reminds me the beautiful gift I gave him, here’s a pic of us, almost one year after our first meeting.
Thank you guys, from both our hearts

My best friend and I had met on Instagram in the summer of 2012...
We began to talk everyday and as we grew closer, we just knew we had to meet one day. Her only being in Syracuse, NY and I in Toronto, CA; there wasn’t much more than a few hours driving distance between us.
So on June 27th, 2014, she and her mom set out to Toronto to meet me, just 2 days before her birthday. I had never been so excited and scared at the same time, before.
When I finally received that message that she was in her hotel room and in a matter of hours, we’d be meeting for dinner. The nerves and excitement were racking up as we continued to text nonstop about how long we’d be waiting for this moment to arrive. At 6:52pm that evening is when it finally did. It is the exact moment our first picture of us hugging had been taken (thanks to our moms).
Meeting my best friend in real life for the first time felt like a movie scene, I just could not believe she was real and this moment was happening.
Flashing forward almost 5 years, we’ve seen each other countless times and even have a matching tattoo together. We’ve created so many memories and having this star map will show just how much that day meant to both of us.

I got married on the 21st of April 2018.
I wanted to have a memory of that day, as it was one of the happiest days of my life. I gave it to my husband as a gift on our first anniversary and now is hanging in our dining room.

December 17th 2016 was the night my best friend asked me to be his girlfriend.
We both lived in Harlingen Tx at the time. Now my boyfriend is stationed in California and is a US Navy Sailor, while I’m still here in Harlingen finishing school.
So I got him this star chat for an anniversary gift and titled it “I love you always, forever no matter the distance”, to show no matter how hard it gets, it’ll all be worth it.
He has it hanging in his room and he’s in love with it.

My best friend and I were out dancing at a country bar, a regular girls night out...
Just as we were thinking about leaving, a boy asked me to dance. He didn't look like he belonged, wearing a loose t-shirt and gym shorts. I initially said no. He asked again and this time I thought "why not".
We got to talking (and dancing) and it turns out he had just returned from deployment that day (he was a marine), this was his first time out in over a year! He wasn't prepared or even in the mood, but he went out with his friends anyway. We danced one dance, and then my friend wanted to leave. As I was walking out of the bar he called after me, and thanked me for taking a chance with him.
That night we danced one dance, and we have been together every day since then.

My baby boy came 3 weeks early.
I never thought I would even have a baby but I wanted to be a mother so bad. That was the moment he was born and took his first breath.
My life has been forever changed in the best way. He's 6.5 months now and absolutely my best friend!
